Holiday Food Drive Benefitting Bienvenidos Food Bank

Let’s spread some cheer by giving back this holiday season!

Red Egg Marketing is organizing a holiday food drive to collect donations for our local Bienvenidos Food Bank. 2023 was an unprecedented year of demand for Bienvenidos’ services. The lapse in COVID-era federal assistance has caused local families to lose $90 in benefits each month on average. When paired with high inflation rates and rising rents, families are forced to choose between paying for food or keeping their lights on. Thus, the Bienvenidos team saw a 100% increase in new families this year, and a 68% increase in overall visits to the food bank. Now serving more than 9,000 people monthly, our community needs a helping hand now more than ever! Check out the donation list below to see how you can lend a helping hand.

FOOD DRIVE DURATION: November 17–December 20
DROP OFF: at the Red Egg office, Suite 120 or at Forty45 Coworking

NEEDED ITEMS:

  • Hearty Soups (Chunky, Progresso, etc.)
  • Soap (Full size, unscented, and gender neutral)
  • Toothpaste/brushes
  • Stuffing
  • Jams, Jelly, & Honey
  • Evaporated Milk
  • Jello Boxes
  • Stews & Chili
  • Canned Fruit
  • Cooking Oil
  • Pasta & Sauce
  • Peanut Butter
  • Boxed Dry Meals & Sides
  • Snack Bars
  • Canned Chicken
  • Canned Tuna
  • Snack Bars
  • Refried Beans
  • Condiments
  • Bags of Rice (1 or 2 lbs)

Monetary Donations

Through January 31st

You can also visit our donation page to submit a monetary amount though January 31st. For every $1 donated, Bienvenidos can provide more than $9 worth of food for those in need.
