Meet the First-Ever Red Egg Marketing Scholarship Winner
Big news from the Red Egg nest. After reviewing a strong pool of applicants for our Red Egg Marketing Scholarship, we’re thrilled to announce the recipient: Gabriella Fiske, a first-year marketing student at the University of Tampa. This is a huge milestone for Red Egg and an even bigger one for Gabriella, and we could not be more excited to share her story. A huge thank you to every student who applied and to everyone who shared the scholarship. You’re the reason we’re able to do this.
EGGverything You Need to Know About the Red Egg Marketing Scholarship
The Red Egg Marketing Scholarship was created because we know firsthand how much the cost of higher education can stand in the way of big ambitions. As a Denver marketing agency built on creativity and community, supporting the next generation of marketers and creatives felt like a natural extension of who we are.
The scholarship awards two $2,500 awards per year, one per semester, to students pursuing careers in marketing, graphic design, web development, entrepreneurship, advertising, journalism, communications, or a related creative field. Applicants submit either a written essay or a creative graphic that addresses two prompts: how higher education will help them reach their career goals, and how a small business has positively impacted their life.
Submissions are reviewed by our team of marketing professionals and evaluated on three criteria: creativity and originality, clarity of goals, and impact narrative. The best applications don’t just tick these boxes though; they’re telling us a real story! (And trust us, with the amount we had to sift through – real stories are what stood out the most.)
Announcing Our Spring 2026 Red Egg Marketing Scholarship Winner
Out of a strong pool of applicants, one submission rose to the top: Gabriella Fiske.
Gabriella just wrapped up her first year at the University of Tampa, where she’s studying marketing with her sights set on a career as a Marketing Coordinator. Her essay stood out not just for its writing but for the genuine passion and entrepreneurial drive behind every sentence. Our selection committee didn’t need long to make the call.
This announcement of the scholarship winner marks a meaningful first for Red Egg. Gabriella isn’t just our first-ever recipient; she’s proof that the Red Egg Marketing Scholarship is already finding exactly who it was meant to find.
In Her Own Words

“I am absolutely thrilled and deeply honored to be selected as the first-ever recipient of the Red Egg Marketing Scholarship. I am incredibly grateful for Red Egg Marketing’s support as I pursue my educational goals and a future in this field.”
— Gabriella Fiske

A Submission That Hit Close to Home for Red Egg’s Founder
Our founder and CEO, Ryan Ellis (Head Egg), personally reviews every application. When he read Gabriella’s essay, one part of her story hit especially close to home. But I’ll let his words speak for themselves:

“In addition to being a well-written story highlighting her work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Gabriella’s submission resonated with me personally. The most interesting parallel was her relationship with a local printer who treated her with respect and helped her with promotional materials for her tutoring business. When starting Red Egg Marketing, a local printer provided me with a similar courtesy, printing professionally printed proposals for presentations as I needed them. Small businesses like these provide invaluable opportunities for our communities and her story was a great example of how small businesses impact our daily lives. I wish Gabriella the best of luck in her educational endeavors and hope she continues to pursue her career ambitions in the field of marketing.”
— Ryan Ellis, CEO & Founder, Red Egg Marketing
If that story doesn’t give you chills, we don’t know what will. A young entrepreneur building something of her own, supported by a local small business that showed up for her, that’s not just a good essay. That’s exactly the kind of story we created this scholarship to find.
