Considerable effort goes into every site we design and develop, however here are some of the key features we are most proud of on the American Museum of Western Art website.
Seamless Ticketing
As AMWA is open to the public every other weekday, our new ticket booking UI emphasizes open days. This is more straightforward for new visitors, and doesn’t force them onto a third party site to complete their purchase. We also created a handy widget in the header to dynamically note the Museum’s hours.
Historic timeline
We developed a fully custom historic timeline feature without the use of a bulky plugin. Its responsive design is cohesive with the modern aesthetic of the site, with smooth, dynamic animations. It includes a choice between scrolling or anchor link functionality for an optimum user experience, no matter the device.
Modern Look and Feel
The Museum’s previous website solution was quite dated. We refreshed the brand from the ground up with an updated strategy, typography, and color palette. These elements came together to embody the vibrant beauty of the museum and collection itself for an engaging, welcoming website experience.
